Re: 2010 Wildcards
PVB Q WC's:
(wc)Jan Abaza (USA)
(wc)Monica Puig (PUR)
(wc)Malou Ejdesgaard (DEN)
(wc)Beatrice Capra (USA)
Agree with Beatrice though

Re: 2010 Wildcards
Who even is that Denmark girl?
Abaza won a QWC tournament last month. I remember reading she beat Sachia Vickery to get it.
Puig is a decent choice. She has been on fire recently, especially on clay.
Beatrice She likes the clay. Won the G1 Banana Bowl. I hope she does well.

Re: 2010 Wildcards
That Ejdesgaard girl also got a doubles MD WC in Charleston with Wozniacki so they probably are getting one in PVB too
I wonder who got the MD WC's . Hopefully someone like McHale, Stephens, Vandeweghe, ...
Or maybe Albanese since she's a local

Re: 2010 Wildcards
^ I would love for Lauren to get a WC. Maybe it would inspire her to step up her game!
Maybe Jamie Hampton? Christina doesn't have many tournaments left before she turns 18. Sloane would be a good choice. Something tells me they will go to non Americans though

Re: 2010 Wildcards
^ She hasn't played in a month. I think she might be injured?
EDIT: Oh wait I was talking about Madison Brengle... you were talking about Madison Keys I hope Madison Keys gets a WC.

I agree that Monica Puig is a good choice; she's had some great results this season, particularly on clay and she's a USTA player.
I don't understand the waste of a WC on a pretty hopeless Danish girl.

Re: 2010 Wildcards
I read that MD WCs went to Sloane, Carly Gullickson, and Ayumi Morita.

Re: 2010 Wildcards
Edjessgaard (sp?) led 5-1 in the second set against Rodionova
I hope the Charleston WC's go to Americans. All I know is Shelby Rogers got a QWC

Re: 2010 Wildcards
Caro probably bribed them to give Ejdesgaard a WC
And they got a doubles WC for PVB
