Well, Memphis at least gave Bethanie the last MD WC. So 1/3 to Americans.
They had the right mentality for giving out the QWCs (they went to young Americans) but they picked all the wrong ones.  Catherine Harrison, Krista Hardebeck, Victoria Duval, and Alexandra Anghelescu. The only decent choice was Hardebeck. Duval just turned 14 and is barely old enough to have a ranking. She would be better off with a QWC into an ITF tournament.
Prime choices of girls 18 and under would have been: Christina McHale, Sloane Stephens, Ester Goldfeld, Beatrice Capra, Lauren Davis, Grace Min, Madison Keys, Kyle McPhillips, Nicole Gibbs, or Ellen Tsay.

LOL, No I don't think she deserves one, but I could see why they gave one to her. Used to be top 100 and can potentially do some damage. Or maybe she just wrote a really good persuasive letter to them. 
I'm hoping Miami will be a little more giving to our US girls.

IMG will probably give Coco MD WC, but I have no clue who else. Maybe Sloane will get one considering how well she has done in IW? Bethanie should get one. Alexa and Christina too. But I highly doubt they'll give 5 Americans WCs. That would be too good.

WTF!? Not a single American in the bunch!?  Dokic (although in awful form), Henin, and Watson are the only ones I agree with. And is Martic and IMG girl? Because if so then I guess she's ok.
