How is possible that Donna is 8th seed when her junior rank is pretty bad (due to not playing juniors so much)?

They take into account pro rankings for the seedings. That's why Beck is the #2 seed.

Anyway I hope for once Donna has a good run at a Grand Slam.

Only logical explanation.

I expect (but it is more hope for which I know that Donna has potential to make it) at least SF. Donna, just act this is some 25k in Asia!

Khromacheva and Bencic lost, but Lottner stands as a better player than them now

Seeds are seeded for either their junior ranking, or pro ranking. But do the players choose which ranking do they want to be taken into account (and express their option) or it's the best one who's automatically used? I know there's a whole explanation about this matter of fact on the ITF site, but I'm too lazy to search

Monday is doubles day for Donna.She and her partner are playing against #3seeded doubl Csoregi/Kulickhova 4th match after 11 AM.

Nice win today, no energy wasted in 1st round she controled match from begining to the end.Kremen stood no chance at all.Donna is strong favorit in 2nd round too!

Donna and Sasnovich won their 1st round match 7-5 3-6 10-7...

Tomorrow Donna is playing two matches: her 2nd round singles match at 11AM and 2nd round round of doubles will be 5th match after 11AM against Peterson/Sutijadi.

I hope she won't waste too much energy on doubles tournament, specially if she gets far (QF or further).

P.S. funny thing is that she will play against the same opponent both in singles and doubles. Let's hope for quick 2:0

Donna is playing her R2 match right now, against Peterson. She lost the first set 36 but won the second 76(2). They're on serve in the third set, 22.
