I hope Donna wins but let's not underestimate Kowase, who has a CH ranking of #14.
If Donna wins, R2 should be easier. She would play either a qualifier or a LL.

Donna and Iva are playing doubles together and are seeded #3. Today in R1 they beat Ostapenko/Patiuk 76(5) 64.
In R2 they play a local WC team. Good luck!

The next is Anna Scmiedlova.She is #13 on junior list and #647 on WTA list.She is 1 year and 9 months older than Donna.
Last year on pro tour, Schmiedlova won one 10 000 $ tournament.On junior tour she won two tournaments (G1 and G2) and she played QF on Australian open.
This match will show where Donna currently is in her development as a player.I think Donna will won this one.Good luck!!!

There is no any barrier. She lost vs probably the best 2 players born 1995. One of them is #205 on pro circuit (she could beat her at Winmbledon) and the other one is top junior.
