It feels important that Donna win at least one match in Miami. Her confidence might have gotten a bit dented by losing to BMS; it was her first time as a seeded player in WTA, and she disappointed. Also, she's defending 50 points.
Doesn't hurt to remind ourselves again that there's just 16 (!) girls in the top 100 born after 1991, and that Donna is still the youngest in that crowd. In fact, the second youngest (M. Keys, currently at #76) is a full 16 months older than Donna. The draw isn't a walk in the park, but even one win would be a great thing at the moment.
I doubt she'll make it on court today...weather map looks terrible. Two matches in one day would be terrible and would also means that I probably wouldn't seen her on Friday (the only day I'm going) since she would play R1 on Thursday if she won
