I've ended my week in Osijek at school... Studying is not easy at all but is a major part of my development. Next week I'm back to the more familiar surroundings of the practice courts in London.

Just to let know all of you who missed today's interview - you didn't miss anything important, except maybe a good view at Donna's legs in a short dress

- she lost the finals of Tashkent to a better player; aims at #1; plan for 2012 was #200 so she did much better than the team hoped for; next two weeks she'll spend in London; after London a 100k ITF in China

(that plus maybe a few words about Donna's team - mentioning everyone by name). That's all there was to hear. The whole thing lasted maybe 3 minutes, which is IMO considerably shorter than what it took Donna to get dressed and apply make-up for this interview (she looked real nice, but was maybe a little tense). Dad was there with her, I already mentioned she is a spitting image of her father, which was more than noticable again

Overall, a nice practice session for future interveiws Onto the tennis courts girl

Su-Wei HSIEH, Ying-Ying DUAN, Timea BACSINSZKY and Saisai ZHENG are in good form and they are biggest threats for Donna (my opinion)

Just hope that she won't get Timea in first two rounds, she played excellent on last tournaments. Can't wait to see Donna here

Typical English weather doesn't change my training plans. It may be raining but I'm still on court with my coach David Felgate.

Hsieh and Timea are definitely tough asks. Hope Donna steers clear of them early.

Here's hoping for another withdrawal - really don't like the fact that Caroline Garcia is just outside the seeding circle. Potentially VERY dangerous.

Donna... oh God... such a great tennis but kinda from interviews she is kinda boring. Tennis and tennis only...

Garcia has been quite bad this year IIRC, losing to so pretty bad players. The others could be very difficult though. This is almost as hard as Tashkent and it is pretty weak for a 100K

It's all a learning curve though. Whatever the result it doesn't matter, but a QF or even a SF would be great

You're right about Garcia not doing too well when taking a whole of 2012 into account, but her inconsistency is actually what worries me. She can either lose badly in the very first match or make a great run, there's really no middle ground with her. She had some top 100 wins this year (Rus, Foretz, Cadantu), and a few against top 150 opposition, but she does also lose to really unimpressive players. Not to mention that she has fifteen (15) first round losses this year, either QR1 or R1 on various categories of events. But I'd still like Donna to avoid her, just to be safe.

Finishing my practice week in London. Very intense week but feeling very satisfied with my progress. Now for the weekend and working with my physio, which will include a little city walking... I'll upload some photos!
