She clearly lost focus after that first set. What's impressive is that she was able to raise her level when it mattered most.

Great to see character and that she can win even when she aint at her best.
However i think this break up to US Open will be very useful for her. I have a feeling she needs some rest, as well as some additional practice. |

A bit of a hiccup at the end as she was up *5-1 in the second set.  But into the semifinals! She's so close to Top 200. I think if she wins the title it's guaranteed.
I really want to see Donna play Carina Witthoeft in the final. She's a talented young German player who I think will be a very tough test for Donna. I'm sure they'll play many more times in the future anyway.
