I think this is Felgate's "fault". He probably put that in her head that she is still young and can learn both from wins and defeats. That's quite a good attitude when you're just starting since you will have a lot of bad losses down the road.
Too bad Donna didn't win but.... ah well, now let's see what she can do on grass. Expecting a much better result in Wimby then she did in RG.

I agree with Felgate. How can she be disappointed??? I mean, maybe if she played shit the whole match and gave it to Friedsamm that would be different, but with this result she has proven just where she's at and that she has the capability to win tournaments on clay and win tournaments in Europe. I knew she was going tom lose, but given how close the score was, I now believe in her a lot more as a player and in her potential. This was a very good loss

I wasn't sarcastic It's a better thing to be optimistic rather than suffering for losses, but she really could win this one, if it wasn't for the choke in the last set. Bittersweet thing for us. You believe in her more now, but I guess you would've believed even more if she was to won 
She surely was a bit upset after the match. Probably not as much as we were

Really unlucky with the draw, Friedsam is through to the finals. She beat the next two opponents easily: 6-2 6-0 against Sabino and 6-2 6-1 against 4th seed Gatto-Monticone.
Donna was the only one who actually made it competitive! |

I was just saying that I agree with her coach that it is good to take the positives from a loss
