I agree. I don't see that as a big deal at this point. I think she had a good first match. THe bottom line is that she donated 12 points/3 games to Gullickson and still won in two sets. That's a good start.
She has a good chance to not only reach the main draw but maybe win a match or two there, which would be a real confidence boost to start the year. Small positive steps now will lead to bigger things later in the year.

Thanks. Hope she just retired out of caution rather than because of a bad pain. She's too young to be going through so many injuries.
