Tamira Paszek 2010 Cheering Thread!
I think we should have a cheering thread for Tamira in all tournaments in 2010 
As of now, she has entered:
Week 1:
Auckland (with WC)- Q
Week 2:
Hobart (with SR)- MD
Weeks 3+4:
Australian Open (with SR)- MD
Week 6:
Paris Inddors (with SR)- Q
Week 7:
Dubai (with SR)- Q
By the way, her SR is #59

What is "SR"? Like a protected ranking?
Hopefully she has been training and practicing this year during the offseason, unlike last year when she had the foot injury. That will help her get a jump start on the year. Call me crazy, but I just have a gut feeling this will be a breakthrough year for her. Nineteen is usually when it happens for most young players. We'll see.

It's good that she'll play both Auckland and Hobart. Even if she doesn't make the MD in Auckland, hopefully she can get at least a couple of matches under her belt there, a couple more at Hobart, and at least have some good match preparation before the Australian Open. Winning a couple of matches there could help her get a good start to the season.

Good for Mimi. Solid start. The doubles I'm not worried about at the moment. Expected. She'll serve better as the rust comes off. But she fought back from some holes in this match and that's a good sign that her mental strength is still there. Congrats, Tamira!
