Actually Nelly Adamson married Monsieur Landry much earlier, in late 1930-ies ! As it seems she changed her name back to Adamson it may only mean she divorced Landry around 1949 (that's why the editor assumed that Nelly Landry "married" Adamson).

I've never heard of her marriage to Mr. Robbins, so it was either short-lasting, or it never took place. I hope someone can solve this mystery soon.

Hi Jimbo. I think Wikipedia is a very unreliable source, because everyone can edit it. Here is a link to Le Figaro issue from 1937-02-15, look at the 2nd page: there's a nice picture of some cute bride - it's Nelly Adamson with a description below that she just married Pierre Landry in Saint-Sauveur Cathedral in Bruges (Belgium).

About her first marriage, also IMDb writes that (on 1933 not 1934, and calling her one time Adamson and one time Anderson, British (!) player).

Jimbo, maybe ask Newmark about this British player Nellie Adamson / Anderson. He may have some info on her, or some old ranking that could confirm she existed.
