Race - the Game ---> GrandSlam/Mandatory Ruls

the Grand Slam and Mandatory rules are a bit different to the normal Tournament rules.

you have to predict how a GrandSlam-Tournament will go on from Quarterfinal on, and this twice.
Sounds easy, but you have to predict the Quarterfinal, and the ongoing matches before the first ball is played of the whole Tournament.

on your first prediction you can pick whoever you want.
on your second prediction you can just include players who are not seeded between #1 and #8.
You need to pick 16 different players.
A player you included in SET1 can not be picked in SET2 again.
If you pick a player a second time SET1 will count for your points.

so your prediction could look like this.
Quote:
SET1

QF
Serena #1 def. Jankovic #8
Kuznetzova #3 def. Dementieva #5
Venus #6 def. Wozniacki #4
Safina #2 def. Azarenka #7

SF
Serena #1 def. Kuznetzova #3
Venus #6 def. Safina #2

Final
Serena #1 def. Venus #6
Quote:
SET2
Quote:
QF
Lisicki #23 def. Groenefeld
Zvonareva #9 def. Hanutchova #27
Stosur #13 def. Oudin
Dokic def. DateKrumm

SF
Lisicki #23 def. Zvonareva #9
Stosur #13 def. Dokic

Final
Stosur #13 def. Lisicki #23

For Mandatory Tournaments it´s nearly the same as for GrandSlams

But you has just 1 SET of picks and from the SF on. and there are no restrictions on your picks as example

SF
Dementieva #5 def. Serena #1
Pennetta #12 def. Ivanovic

Final
Dementieva #5 def. Pennetta #12

Points for Grand Slams

Winner ............ 40 points

RunnerUP .......... 20 points
Semifinalist ...... 10 points
Quarterfinalist ... 05 points

Points for Mandatory Events
Winner ............ 20 points
RunnerUP .......... 10 points
Semifinalist ...... 05 points

as example

Quote:
QF
Serena #1 def. Jankovic #8
Kuznetzova #3 def. Dementieva #5
Venus #6 def. Wozniacki #4
Safina #2 def. Azarenka #7

SF
Serena #1 def. Kuznetzova #3
Venus #6 def. Safina #2

Final
Serena #1 def. Venus #6
you picked Serena to win the whole Tournament, and she really wins it = 40 points
you picked Serena to win the whole Tournament, and she lost in final = 20 points
you picked Serena to win the whole Torunament, and she lost in Semifinal = 10 points
you picked Serena to win the whole Torunament, and she lost in QF = 05 points

you picked Dementieva to go out in QF, and she lost in Quarterfinal = 05 points
you picked Dementieva to go out in QF, but she got further = 05 points

you picked Kuznetzova to go out in Semifnal, but she already lost in QF = 05 points
you picked Kuznetzova to go out in Semifinal, and she lost in Semifinal = 10 points
you picked Kuznetzova to go out in Semifinal, but she won the Tournament = 10 points

Re: Race - the Game >>>>> GrandSlam/Mandatory rules <<<<<

Will the mandatory tournaments consist of all 4(IW,KB, Madrid, Beijing) in 2010 unlike in 2009, when we did only Indian Wells and Key Biscayne on a different point structure?

Re: Race - the Game ---> GrandSlam/Mandatory Ruls

The difference is very unique & different. But in this game that will win who play his game without any pressure. Kuznetzova #3 make it up.
