There are rumors that Prince (whole company) have serious financial problems. A total exit from tennis won't be a surprizing move during next seasons.
We'll see Daniela changing her raquet soon. I know she got offers from Yonex, Völkl and Babolat during last season, when she choose to renew her contract with Prince. But for how long?
Her contract with Adidas is on its way to end before US Open as she had 3+1. If she renew with Adidas it will be for an extra year. Then, who knows...

Anyway, I just knew this and wanna share it with the other fans of her. BTW, I think she'll accept the WC for Carlsbad.

Wasn't she using a Babolat very recently?

I saw it somewhere.

She should go back with Nike, it suited her better.

The pics in the on-court photos thread were from like 2002. That Babolat racquet is an old model. Anyways, I like Prince racquets. I don't think they'll make a TOTAL exit.

Daniela is on the final stages of her career. + Not expecting much after Olympics. The title on Pattaya and the Top 20 was pretty much this year. She missed some great chances, but

No. Daniela will never go back to Nike! Believe me. There is no room for her there. As for her raquets, I think Babolat will be a great choice.

These damn rankings make no sense.

I think she will draw Venus round 1 with a possible second round against Serena or Masha.

Daniela lost 4 and 6 to Pavlyuchenkova on 1st R, with Pavlyuchenkova losing her R2 match 1 and 2 to WC Mladenovic.

Daniela's current form is so horrible that I can not describe. They lost the doubles handily after taking the first set 6-4 (2-6 1-6).

Daniela is on Mixed Doubles as well with a great doubles player. I think she won't pay attention to this evet (as well).
With singles ranking coming at 35 after USO and losing doubles SF points from last year, we can claim that this year will be just

+ Watching the R3 matches between Pironkova-Soler-Espinosa and Tatishvilli-Minella makes me wonder how damn unlucky Daniela has been, once more and all these years long. Always, always the toughest draws (but she also choke the easy ones, so..).
