Well done Anna.  She has just blown by her childhood friend Maria Kirilenko in the rankings and as tennis players in the last year and that has caught me by surprise. I think Anna is stronger mentally and physically than Makiri is and that's why Anna has had an easier time than Little Masha has making it to the next level as tennis players.

Nadia won Tier II Paris, her 7th title, all Tier I or II.
She's the only player on the tour with 6 titles in the past year.
