The Exquisite Ekaterina Ivanova Jumping Thread!
18 year old Ekaterina Ivanova is a pretty cool player. I have been following her this year with great pleasure. She is currently at a career high for singles & doubles, so its the best time to give her her own thread! Does anyone know how she plays? I hope she can continue her progress and march into the top 200 by the end of the year!

I think Ekaterina plays the typical Russian way, hits hard. Best shot would go for double handed backhand or forehand.
Good to give Ekaterina a thread. We start with the good news,  won her first round 50K. Qual vs. her compatriot Smirnova. Good luck in next round. |

1st Round: Ekaterina Ivanova RUS def. Anais Laurendon FRA 64 62
2nd Round :Ekaterina Ivanova RUS def. Aleksandra Srndovic SWE 36 63 75  Great fight!
One more round and were in the MD of a 50k!!!!!!!!!!!
