Apparently, the Yonex design team has gone into a coma after reviewing the initial sketches for their 2010 line.
When they recover, they are being sent back to completely rework the entire collection as it has failed to meet their usual standards.
After all, in past years at least one member of the review team has actually died of boredom. Yonex icon Elena Dementieva has issued the following statement: "No, I am not having back the bangs. There is a restraining order! Security! Security!"
