11 August, SACHIE has applied for professional registration to the JTA.
JTA is planning to approve turned pro at the Board of directors' meeting on 24 September.
After turning pro is sponsored by YONEX.
She has already received a wildcard of PPO Qualifying,
and will make this the first tournament as a professional.
Sachie talked;
｢I wanted to go professional to fit a big tournament. I want to buy the dress by the prize. ｣
JTA is Japan Tennis Association.

Apparently there was a complete washout today in Noto, meaning no matches were played.
Thanks for the news, tennijapo. Do you know anything about Sachie's injury last week and who will receive the other wildcards for the Pan Pacific Open? Thank you
