Wimbledon 2014

I noticed that some of the Wimbledon wildcards have been announced with some left to be allocated. I wonder if Jarka will receive a main draw into Wmbledon. She has always played OK there with a 4R and 3R appearance and the LTA have a policy that only top 250 players can be allocated a main draw w/c so there will be no random Brits in the draw. Thus, there is always a foreign contingent in their choices.

If she does well in Nottingham, she certainly is in with a shot. Regardless, I think she can qualify anyway.

Re: Wimbledon 2014

I'd say that Mon and Liv will be in doubles qualies won't they? They're rankings are surely high enough and I guessed that they're playing together this week because they're expecting to be in Wimbledon qualies.

And yeah, Jarka into QF in Nottingham now. A QWC is surely becoming a possibility for her.

Their combined ranking of #191 seems low but we will see. For the French Open the cut off was #136

I just remember Jess Moore in doubles qualies a few years ago and she's never been top 100. I assume Mon and Liv will make the qualies cutoff.

Yes, you're right. They should be high enough for qualies.

Re: Wimbledon 2014

Doubles @ Wimbledon

#6 Barty/Dellacqua
#7 Pennetta/Stosur
#12 Kudyravtseva/Rodionova
#60 Gajdosova/Rodionova

Jarka and Arina will probably be in qualies. Mon and Liv have not entered for some reason, they would've probably be in qualies as well. Although its not a finalized list yet and teams can still enter though. I think they will not play at Wimbledon BECAUSE MONIQUE has entered 25k Siofok What happen to putting singles on hold for doubles??

Re: Wimbledon 2014

Yes surely Monique didn't travel to the UK to just play two grasscourt challengers and not bother with doubles qualies at a SLAM?

Yes, you are right. I misread your message, you were talking about quallies and not the main draw.

Hopefully. The fact that Liv isn't listed with anyone either, hopefully means that they just haven't entered yet.

I think they've thought that their rankings won't be high enough so Monique made other priorities and went to Siofok instead
