Martina N.! Picks up a Partner then tosses them aside!
This is all in fun but has anyone else noticed that way Martina has clawed her way up the doubles partner ladder? First it was with ASV, a player who though great is certainly seen her best years behind her. Then it was on to Natatsha Z, another former great who herself was making a comeback. No dice there. So martina gets some fresher legs on her side and teams up with Panova and still no dice. So martina thinks go for better and better, yes top ten. Jennifer enters the scene and really nothing worked right there either.
So now, after going through practically the entire tour Martina has hit the jackpot with the number one player in the world as her partner, a player that has already won a career grandslam in doubles despite not being a doubles specialist: serena williams.
How can martina not win a title and if they played a grand slam if they keep this team.

A couple of things...
The break-up of Martina's partnership with Arantxa and Natasha were mutual decisions. In so many ways, you can say Arantxa and Natasha have done "MUCH" better since the breakup - Arantxa with Hantuchova, Zvereva with Rubin.
Secondly, Martina playing with different partners over the summer was simply to play with different partners. She could not find a regular partner as everyone has more-or-less committed to someone or the other and it was the middle of the year. This partnership with Serena is a one-off for the most part. I really do not see Serena playing with Martina at the Slam events. And Martina approached Serena with the idea at Wimbledon this year. This hasn't been some recent brainwave.
Martina would much rather have a regular partner - she played the entire 2001 with Arantxa - but she has had few choices this year.
P.S. and for the record, Martina has never played with Panova.

Another homophobic poster with nothing but hatred for Martina clouding his views...
(hey if all non-williams fans are racists, 2 can play that game)...

Let's not forget that she first came back playing with de Swardt and said she wanted to find someone quicker and then went to Arantxa...
Anyway, I don't see the big deal; you don't think every doubles player wants the best partner they can get??

Martina only played with Natasha to get her out of wilderness and back on to the circuit.
Natasha had be persuaded back, now she is back, she's happy playing with others again.
no one tossed Natasha aside

Are some of you retarded? Did you not read my first five words: "this is all in fun..." Get a grip and stop taking things so seriously. Geezus, homophobic? How in the heck could what I wrote be considered homophobic, except in the most paranoid oversensitive infantile brain?

You may write "this is all in fun" but the tone of your post and what you said sure did not seem at all "light" or "funny" -- to me, anyway.
And just to add here -- you left out Srebotnik and Tulyganova as Martina's partners along the way and, as others have pointed out, you added Panova when you shouldn't have. Some of those you mentioned (Jennifer comes first to mind) were never thought of as "permanent" partners but, as all doubles players do, just "pick-up" partners for a tournie where both players are entered and feel like playing doubles.
As to the "homophobic" remark, I think the point was clear -- IF, when anyone posts anything that is even slightly against one of the Williams sisters. they are labeled a "racist", then if someone posts anything even the slightest against Martina, it only follows logically that that post would be labeled "homophobic" as an illogical beginning premise only begets another!

No its not logical to be labelled a homophobe for talking about martina. If I talk about players from other countries am I xenophobic as well? Get a grip people. Don't you know homophobia when you see it? GO turn on one of those religious revival gospel hour television shows and you'll see homophobia.
