Emily Webley-Smith defeated Amra Sadikovic 6-7(7-4) 7-5 6-2, and is now in the quarter final in Esperance, Western Australia.

In Kalgoorlie, Emily was in the opposite half of the draw from Alicia Molik, but was forced to retire after one set in the first round against qualifier Danielle Brown.

Emily won all three qualifying matches in straight sets, and has drawn fellow qualifier Yu Min-Hwa in the first round at Gimhae.
