$50,000 Raleigh Q3: (6)Jessica Pegula (USA) d. (4)Alexis King (USA) 64 16 61
Good win for Jessie. King has a huge forehand and can be tough to play against. Unfortunately she drew Alexa Glatch in the MD but I think she definitely has a shot to win this one.

(4)Alexa Glatch (USA) d. (Q)Jessica Pegula (USA) 63 61
Jessie tweeted that it was a good match that she learned a lot from, so I'm sure things will be a lot different the next time they meet. She's still in doubles though...

Re: Jessica Pegula
$50K Carson:
(1)Camila Giorgi (ITA) v Lena Litvak (USA)
Alyona Sotnikova (UKR) v Megan Falcon (USA)
Marie-Eve Pelletier (CAN) v Jessica Pegula (USA)
(7)Krista Hardebeck (USA) v Macall Harkins (USA)
Not the best draw, but if she's playing well she can definitely get through this section.

Re: Jessica Pegula
WOW! I think USA has two of the best 1994 girls in Hardebeck and Pegula... something tells me they will play many more matches and I'm not surprised at the tight scoreline. Nice win Jessie!

Re: Jessica Pegula
They are both very good. I saw the match. Best part about it is Pegula is coached by Michael Joyce ! And Hardenbeck is coached by Robert Vant Hoff. Both men have coached multible grand slam champions!!!!! You will see a lot of these 2 in the future!

Re: Jessica Pegula
She seemed disappointed by the loss on Twitter but she knows she has things to work on and I'm confident she'll bounce back. Only a matter of time before she breaks through IMO.
