Re: Sloane Stephens
So sick of Ana. Be nice for Sloane to actually win and get the experience. Ana is a lost cost. She'll forever be stuck in these 3rd/4th rounds.
ETA:
She looks just like her mom. I see good skin complexion runs in the family.

Re: Sloane Stephens
Walkover in mixed? Hopefully she's alright. Nothing to defend for the rest of the season...

Re: Sloane Stephens
I completely understand this is a learning process, she is only 19, and all that.......but, I was very disappointed in this match with Ana. Its a known fact, Ana's forehand is her far superior stroke, and to try to avoid it at all cost. It seems as the match wore on, Sloane was hitting primarily to her forehand, and I don't get it! When someone starts blasting winner after winner on the same stroke, dont you try to change it up a bit?? I dont know, just not a good match from Sloane.
I read she has a slight ab strain, so I hope she recovers and can play some good matches this fall.

Re: Sloane Stephens
Withdrew from everything this fall except for Luxembourg (so far). Sucks. Really could have made a move up the ranks and made a legitimate push for the top 20 since she wasn't defending anything.
Hopefully she'll at least play Luxembourg and win a round or two so she can secure herself an AO seed.

Re: Sloane Stephens
She didn't play anything last fall either. Her scheduling has always been very suspect, in my opinion. I know she has her ab injury, but it didn't seem that serious at the Open.
