She tightened up a bit when serving for it at 5-4 and ended up losing the set 7/5.  Hopefully she'll calm down and refocus at the beginning of the 2nd |

5-7 4-6. Fought back from 1-5 down in the 2nd set only to play a loose game when she was serving at 4-5. 
Still a really positive tournament. Hopefully she can carry this confidence over onto the grass where things will be trickier for her. She can't afford to give up court positioning and start retrieving like she did for a 30 minute spell in today's match.

Yup, I totally agree
Still an amazing tourney for Sloane  . I love how her attitude has improved so much over the past year
Now for about a weeks worth of r & r ( and some practice  ) before the start of her grass season

Sloane  I think nerves got to her today. Hopefully this will be a great learning experience.
