On one side, Marion is being ridiculed for not shaking Virginie's Hand. Although there has been a long history between these two, were many unnecessary and hurtful comments have came out of Virginie's mouth, some of which were the day before the match.
On the other side, Virginie has just won and traditionally come over to bartoli to shake her hand, Marion refused. Virginie has never had a good relationship with Marion as Marion has not played fed cup for many years and is somewhat segregated from French tennis.

Players should always shake hands after the match. It doesn't have to be an ATP embrace, no rubbing of the stomach or patting of the ass, just a quick hand shake will do - you don't even have to look your opponent in the eye - but it's just the moral thing to do.

Yesterday, she just came to shake Marion's hand in order to show the public that she is "a nice girl", but she isn't. And she was happy with how the things went.
However, it's true that it's bad sportsmanship from Marion, but I don't find it bad that she didn't.

Marion has tried to make friends with most of the french players, but as she was not allowed to train with the french tennis association, most of the french players conformed to french tennis officals views, which were to segregate marion until she conformed (i.e. ditched her father.) Marion has still tried to be friends with french players, but they have thrown it back in her face, with this and Razzano's comments, why should she shake the obviously fake hand of Razzano.

Not a big deal. Two players who obviously don't like each other. Razzano made disrespectful comments about Bartoli before the match. So I don't blame Bartoli for not shaking her "fake" hand. I agree completely with Vaidisova Rules. Razzano wanted to look like "a nice girl". Bartoli took it as taunting.
Maybe she should have only to not look rude in front of the people watching, but it's her choice and I don't have a problem with it. This is how she felt and she made it clear. I like that no-nonsense attitude.
