Ja, 6 Spielerinnen sind schon recht gut, vor allem, weil bis auf Barrois alle noch recht jung sind, aber das wird auch schwierig in neue noch jüngere Spielerinnen in den nächsten Jahren Richtung Top 100 zu führen. Immerhin gab es dieses Jahr deutlich mehr Erfolge auf der ITF-Tour als letztes Jahr, insgesamt waren es 16 Titel bei ITF-Turnieren, das ist ja schon mal nicht schlecht.

Insgesamt waren die deutschen Damen schon immer recht schwach auf Rasen.

Hiermal die Rasenpunkte der letzten 52 Wochen (Stand 15.06.09):
1.Görges 150
2.Barrois 80 (kann diese Woche noch punkten)
3.Kerber 52
4.Wörle 50
5.Lisicki 6
6.Müller 4
7.Bachmann 2
8.Grönefeld 1 (kann diese Woche noch punkten)

hinter Malek und Petkovic scheint ja nix "junges" zu kommen bei den mädels
das macht mir etwas angst

bei den "Boys" spielen ja zumindest auch 4-5 junioren mit und gewinnen ein paar runden, bei den "Girls" holen sich Berlinecke und Haas nur klatschen ab

Naja, die Jahrgänge 91 und 92 spielen auch schon fleißig ITF, Hofmann und Stephan haben ja schon 10k Turniere in diesem Jahr gewonnen und wenn man sich mal die ITF-Ergebnisse der männlichen Junioren ansieht, dann kann man erkennen, das die noch lange nicht Top 500 tauglich sind. Und am Beispiel von Lisicki sieht man, das man nicht unbedingt super Juniorenergebnisse braucht.

Gestern stand mit der erst 15-jährigen Anna-Lena Friedsam auch eine recht gute Juniorin im Finale vom Jugendturnier in Offenbach (G1).
Außerdem hatte Haas dort das Halbfinale erreicht. In Paris musste sie nunmal gleich gegen die spätere Siegerin antreten und Berlinecke scheint z.Z. auch einiges an Verletzungsproblemen zu haben.

Mal schauen was geht..wäre schön wenn es zumindest eine der Damen in das Hauptfeld schaffen könnte..Malek gegen Vakulenko ist wohl eines der interessantesten Matches der ersten Runde..wobei jetzt die meisten der dt. Mädels eine realistische Chance haben die Quali zu überstehen...die Chance werden einige wieder nich nutzen können, aber wie gesagt, es sollte doch zumindest eine schaffen können!

Also theoretisch haben alle Chancen Außer Schäfer, der ich in Form auf Rasen mit ihrem Spiel schon nichts zutrauen würde, und dann noch in schlechter Form....

Naja, aber die kann man alle nicht mit Petkovic, Kerber oder so vergleichen. Petkovic hatte mit 16 schon 2, mit 17 4 ITF-Titel, Kerber schlug mit 15 eine Top 50-Spielerin und war auch immer gut dabei bei den ITFs..
Außer bei Friedsam, da müsste man mal abwarten.

Das schon, man muss aber auch bei vielen Spielerinnen in den Jugendjahrgängen die Schulbelastung mit berücksichtigen. Kerber hat z.B. nach der mittleren Reife sich voll auf Tennis konzentriert genauso wie Malek, Lisicki, Görges oder Grönefeld. Nur Petkovic und Barrois haben ja das Abi gemacht. Das ist halt das alte Problem mit der Schule bzw. Profikarriere.
