I didn't really worry too much about the specs or anything. But now I'm starting to realise the differences for myself. This Babolat is so much stiffer and also doesn't have the same damp feeling as the Princes. The stiffness seems to give it more power and feel. I also find it puts more spin on the ball without as much effort. But... when I'm mishitting on a bad day, I really feel it in my arm the next day.
I think Babolats are only suited for players who are willing to muscle through their strokes.
Prince rackets always have a nice sound to them.

Re: What tennis racquet do u use?

Yonex RQiS 1 Tour XL.... the same one Ana Ivanovic used until summer of 2010. With Head Ultra Tour 17 strings (co-poly) at 55 lbs tension. Amazing racquet, the best one I've owned so far.... just has a great feel, and works wonders for my serve. It's a joy to play with, it just feels so natural.

Yonex really makes some amazing racquets, love the shape and the control and the feel of them. I tried Babolat, but they were too loose and awkward for me.

Re: What tennis racquet do u use?

Guys, I need a new racket. I checked a few out where I play and right now I'm between Wilson BLX Blade 98 or Technifibre Rebound Pro. Thoughts? I don't think I can demo them which irritates me. Anything would help me, much appreciated

Re: What tennis racquet do u use?

^ yeah i'd agree..plus if ur not particularly strong/accustomed to a moderately heavy frame, the weight can be an issue with the blade 98..

Why does demoing a racquet irritate you? How else can you tell if you can play with it?

No, what irritates me is that I don't think I'll be able to demo them.

Long story. I kind of just wanted personal experience with the weight/swing speed etc.

I will buy Sveta's racket. Hopefully it's a great racket. HEAD is the best.
