Back on court
Ági held a press conference today at Oxygen Naphegy Wellness Center. Replying to the questions of the journalists, she talked about her life in the past year and her plans for the 2012 season.
Ági played her last match at Roland Garros last May. She was forced to temporarily retire from competition due to a stress fracture in her back. After trying a couple of treatments, she found the prananadi method. After a couple of months’ treatment, Ági doesn’t feel any more pain in her lower back, neither in personal life, nor during training, which she started a couple of weeks ago.
During the long months of recovery, Ági had a chance to catch up on things she had to neglect while playing, i. e. spending time with her family, friends and fans.
After a few weeks of fitness trainings, she started the on-court trainings two weeks ago with her former coach, Gábor Köves. As it turns out, Ági hasn’t forgotten how to play tennis.
However, last week she had to take a short break, due to a frontal sinus inflammation, but hopefully she will be back on the courts next week.
She is planning to start competing in the qualifying in Stuttgart, using her protected ranking, and after that in Budapest, possibly with a wild card. Her participation at these tournaments will greatly depend on her trainings next week.
However, she has already entered the WTA tournament in Madrid, starting on the 5th May. She will use her protected ranking and will be in the main draw.
The protected ranking can be used at eight tournaments, including one Grand Slam. She is planning to use it at Roland Garros, and as she is qualified for the Olympics, she is planning to play in London as well.

What is with Szavay? Will she come back in 2013 at AO?
