Re: The "anything but Agi" thread
Any Hungarians going to the European Aquatics Championships?
Greece is off to a great start
So far we are tied for the lead in the medal count with Russia after the first day. We have two medals, Russia has two, Germany has one, and Italy has one

Re: The "anything but Agi" thread
I just wanted to go next week for a morning, but some of my friends asked me to go today for the synchro... I woke up at 7am and it was heavy rain. So I will stay with plan A

Re: The "anything but Agi" thread
I was there today morning. It was really good, especially the cheering for Hungarians and for random swimmers if they didn't have a Hungarian in the race
And now we are tied with Greece in the medal table

Re: The "anything but Agi" thread
Aristeidis Grigoriadis is one of the best in Europe in backstroke and he won a medal in 50m and in 100m last European Championships but he lost in both events this year

Re: The "anything but Agi" thread
I'm surprised by Elena retiring. What a fit athlete she has been over the years. I thought (still think) she could keep playing top 10 tennis for several more years. But I guess she has had enough and decided to move on. Honestly though, I would have liked to see her keep playing.

Re: The "anything but Agi" thread
She was my favorite WTA player
She never won a slam
I was so shocked
But what pisses me off the most is that it wasn't even mentioned on Sportscenter on ESPN
And if she does come back, I think it will be doubles only

Re: The "anything but Agi" thread
I really doubt she will come back!
Like I think she loves tennis, but this decision seems very final to me. And she is aging, and she's not Kimiko, so even if she wanted to there wouldn't be much time.
I just can't imagine the WTA without her she was sort of my rock, like whatever bullshit Ági and some of the other crazy girls I support would pull, I could count on Lena to be out there competing with the best and consistently good. And I loved her game .

Re: The "anything but Agi" thread
So I vacationed in Morocco for two weeks. It was an incredible experience. One of the cities I went to was Fes, where Ági is playing a tournament in about a month. I loved it, so hopefully she will too .

Marrakech. And Casablanca briefly, but not Rabat. And I saw the Atlas Mountains and the Sahara Desert .
