Re: Europe/Africa Group II [Nominations added !!!]
Georgia and Portugal should qualify.
But Latvia is dangerous with Sevastova and Dekmeijere in doubles.

this sounds quite srong These countries really must have worked a lot to send their best players...only few(only one?) names are missing (Scheepers)...

I say Portugal and Georgia move on. Latvia, South Africa, and Turkey stay in G2. Lithuania and Morocco will get relegated

I don't see anyone in this group who can beat Sevastova but Latvia has no #2 singles player.

Irina Kuzmina used to be somewhat good a couple of years ago. Now it looks like she's faded away, but she was the occasional $10K winner.

Latvian doubles team will rock with Liga Dekmeijere, so don't worry about the weak #2 player (and Kuzmina is not that bad actually). I can see Latvia promoting together with Portugal

That sounds promising I wonder if Selima Sfar, Anna Gerasimou, Emma Laine, Cara Black, Stephane Vogt(probably she is still injured) and Samia Medjahdi will play or not.
I just heard about the Irish team which will be quite weak without Liggan and with full of really young players..
