Maria in Dubai.
Maria will be back in action after that horrid AO loss to Errani, and will be hoping to get her first singles win of the season in Dubai. The tournaments starts on the 15th of February and with a very strong list, we need Maria to get a good draw.

Maria likes to play in Dubai, yeah. It would have been nice if she played Pattaya or something this week, she really needs to work her way into some form.

Maria's first match will be against Pavlyuchenkova if she wins that then a tough ask against Venus Williams. Sucky draws continue for Miss Kirilenko this year.

Terrible draw again. But Maria has to win the first rd. She shouldn't let younger Russian players get ahead of her easily.

Awful draw again.Let's hope that she'll win her 1st match of the season in singles.Maybe Venus will be lazy to go there which could be a great opportunity for Maria but i don't think so (lot of money in this tournament)

I'm glad she plays tomorrow!
I'm less happier with her draw, but I'm used to it.
If she beat at least Anastasia then I'd be happy about Dubai. Venus is another story.

im hoping she wins her 1st singles match, i was at her AO match against errani & imo the damn ballkids who were incompetant and the stupid blind umpire affected maria (i.e. the ump not deciding to overrule line-calls) not being able to win that match 
possibility of getting slaughtered (bagelled) against venus
