Several times a year, the Godai Cup is held as a friendly competition between the world's four elements: Earth, Water, Fire and Wind. According to tradition, people align themselves with the element that they feel closest to, and battle each other in games, sports and actual combat to determine which element is strongest. In professional tennis, this tradition has manifested itself as the Godai Cup.

You are urged to partake in the festivities. Choose an element and defend it with all your might! The winners will be handsomely rewarded.

((( To avoid everyone picking the same element, rank them all from favorite to least favorite, and PM the list to me. I will use this to determine who represents which element.

The competition will be held the week after the Australian Open. )))

It seems so, unless more people sign up. Though if it's like 10 people, I don't know yet how I'll solve that.

Sign ups are closed. Eight people will battle in teams of two for the Godai Cup title.

First, each team will play against each other team, and then the top two teams will play against each other in the final.

Schedule:

Monday: Teams are revealed
Tuesday-Friday: Group matches
Saturday: Final
