Ksenia trying to get her game going. Got to the QFs of the 10K Sharm El Sheikh 2, where she lost in three sets to the eventual titlist, Natela Dzalamidze. Now into the 2nd round of SES 3.

Congrats to Ksenia for winning her 1st pro title! She did so by beating Jasmin in the semis, 62 61, and #8 seed Natela Dzalamidze in the final, 75 64. The win against Natela was payback for the loss to her in the semis the week before.

Ksenia is in the main draw of Astana, her first tournament since winning her first pro title in Egypt.
She faces Silvia Njiric, who beat her in Wimbledon juniors, in 2009.

Ksenia is the #6 seed at Heraklion 2. She faces qualifier Michaela Frlicka first round.

Ksenia defeated Michaela 64 60. She then had a showdown with former juniors teammate Polina Leykina. She eventually overcame Polina, rallying to win, 67(5) 64 64!

She now faces Patricia Tig in the quarters.

Ksenia defeated Patricia in two tight sets, 76(1) 64. Now into the semis. Faces Silvia Nijiric, who she defeated earlier this year in three close sets.
