Oh that's how you meant it, Stosur had some good wins here in Australia but I think it's more media hype, local media talking up her wins as they do for all Aussies (See Nathan Healey

I don't like the first round. Stosur has very good results in Australia in the past (Gold Coast SF & F and Sydney F although it was a few years ago).Hopefully Maria has a great start and takes the crowd out of it. Also if Maria gets past that then it should open up to the QF then maybe a match with Victoria

The last time she played Stosur she won the tournament.
But now playing her in Australia will be very tough.
I really hope she can make a QF here.

Centre Court (starting at 10:30am)
1. Maria Kirilenko (RUS) vs Samantha Stosur (AUS)

Live tennis on TV starts here on Monday, so I wont be able to see or record this match.

Also Maria is playing doubles with Errani this week.

Groenefeld/King (GER/USA) v Errani/Kirilenko (ITA/RUS)

Well,the 1st round couldn't be worse but if she wins this match,she'll have a great chance to go far in this tournament.

Anyway,10.30 am is a bit too early to begin the season

I think Stosur is from Brisbane, the crowd will be really edging her on.
