"Berlin-Charottenburg 9, Reichsportfeld, Haus des Deutschen Sports, Fernruf 99 62 11, Postscheckkonto Berlin 120 614

"[...] The war situation and the special circumstances make it necessary that the participation of national players in tennis events of any kind can only take place with the prior authorisation of the Special Section/Fachamt.

"This authorisation can be obtained both from the Area Special Warden/Bereichsfachwart or the club and by the player himself and will be issued without further ado wherever it is required.

"The Special Section reserves the right to select the doubles team in each case; any related wishes must therefore always be submitted in good time with the application for authorisation to play.
