Lindsay and either Jill or Beth ( if healthy ) for singles since the Williams are not playing. Hopefully atleastone Williams sister will play the semis, if we can make it that far  . Then we could have Huber play with either Lisa or Vania in doubles.

Hopefully Spain is kinda easy since they have Medina, Vives and CSN, and either WS would be able to carry them to a win.

I totally agree. Not to sound cocky or anything (  ). Buuuuut, i think it would be best to save the Williams sisters for when we really need them later in the fed cup season  . I think our so called "B team" could get the job done in this rd ...

We need Bethanie right now! Are you sure she's injured? She did already officially withdraw from AO which may mean she has some scheduled surgery or know that whatever injury she has will definitely keep her from playing. I am really sad for her...has been playing the best tennis of her career.
On a brighter note, I understand she either did or is getting married so that's cool and great for her. But, please, no babies yet!  |
