They probably are not fit to hold a candle with ALG/Julia.
But it`s a promising alternative, if our double nr.1 once should have a bad day in the office .

Am 1.2. war im NDR Fernsehen, in der Sendung Schleswig-Holstein 18:00, offenbar ein Bericht über Monas Trainingsarbeit in Neumünster in der Winterpause - hat den jemand gesehen oder vielleicht sogar gespeichert? In der NDR-Mediathek ist die Sendung nicht archiviert.

Wie erwartet ist sie nicht im Qualidraw von Doha. Damit dann wohl als nächstes Dubai, wo sie leider ebenfalls Quali spielen muss.  |

Vielleicht ist sie ja doch noch in´s Hauptfeld gerutscht, war ja nach den jüngsten Absagen "nur" noch 4 Absagen vom Hauptfeld entfernt, aber ist wohl eher unwahrscheinlich!
Aber jetzt auch nicht tragisch, punktet ja in Paris schon ordentlich und hat dann immerhin mehr Zeit sich auf Dubai vorzubereiten.

Die englischen Kommentatoren Sam Smith und Chris irgendwas haben Barthel grade sehr gelobt, v.a. für ihre innere Ruhe und Art, Matches anzugehen. Sam meinte, sie wäre jetzt noch etwas unter dem Scheffel der anderen Deutschen, aber sie glaubt, dass sie die Beste sein wird.

sorry, aber was die Wickmeyer praktiziert ist kein ansehnliches Tennis. Statt einem racket hätten ihre eltern ihr besser eine Axt schenken sollen, zum Holz hacken 
Mona hat im ersten spiel klasse serviert, wenns drauf ankam und dann irre intelligent wickys unbeweglichkeit aufgedeckt. Bin sicher, sie macht das heute.
