As for my dear Sveta what can I say?  I'm still disappointed even if some hours have passed now.Once again pressure was too much for her,but she has a chance to redeem herself tomorrow.She should win Flavia.

Safina definetely should've been called up. Not sure about Lena though. Dina hasn't played since Miami so she might wanna get some matches in 
I really want Russia to win. Russia is the best
Italy shouldn't beat them. Only the USA (with at least one WS) and Serbia can beat Russia. But Russia has so much depth

Russia needed Sveta to win twice, but Fran won twice.
Next year Serbia is bringing a much better team than this Italy team.
Big guns for Russia have to start playing more often next year, or 2008 will be the last Russian Fed Cup title in a while

italians were very lucky Vera got injured the week before.With her on team things would have been a lot different.
