Its certainly wrong to have such a ban.

The word was that they had trouble with military personnel in the past. It doesnt excuse it, but it does show where they were coming from.

Their "problems" allegedly had been with a number of personnel coming in together, not a single soldier traveling alone.

It might be a reason, but it's not an excuse. Can you imagine if they refused to give a room to a black person because they had trouble with some in the past? This is outrageous, banning an entire group of people for the actions of a few? Not very logical.

People should completely boycott this (these) place(s) and drive them out of business.
