Great effort for Ayumi and a great win for her! I was getting worried that she wasn't going to close it out after being up 5-2 but she did!

Now good luck against Na! Great opportunity!

Wow, well done Ayumi

Marina : hug: After 7-5 5-3 you would have expected her to close it out easily...

Ayumi

I am so happy right now and this is a very impressive win given her recent form. She leads the head to head vs Marina 2-0 now I think .

Is that her first victory after a long losing streak?

Re: Olympics 1r: A. Morita (JPN) def. M. Erakovic (NZL) 5-7, 7-6(7), 6-4

Let's all remember that Marina Erakovic beat Mahe Drysdale (3 time world champion) a few days ago

AND LETS FORGET THIS MATCH EVER HAPPENNED
(and if you mention that Ayumi now leads Marina 3-0 you will make me even more upset)
