She keeps on losing to everybody these days. In R1 of Grado 25k, where she's defending SF, she lost to a qualifier (Pliskova, #579) in straight sets. Hard to believe that less than a year ago she was at a career-high ranking of 191. Now she'll drop outside of top300
It's lucky for her, but her form is also on the rise in the past month or so. She didn't have much of a season this year, with just a few solid results on challengers and a 6 match losing streak between April and June. BTW, she played Ozga once before, 2 years ago in Spain on hard and won easily, but this time it'll be on clay.
In R2, Ana beat Ozga easily, 64 61. With this, she'll move back into the top 300, at ~280-285. Ana is defending only 14 points through mid-November, so she has a good chance to make a big move up the rankings.
