She jumped 25 spots today, straight to #200 in singles, and also recovered her doubles ranking nicely, from 650 to 431.

Ana is in Linz qualies, as the #7 seed. In QR1 she plays Hofmanova (#230). Good luck, Ana!

Well it doesen't sound like an easy opening match, but after all, this is a WTA event so you can't expect an easy ride. But I believe Ana has a really nice chance for a win here, she's not only seeded (so she's supposed to win this match) but she also seems to be in a much better form than Hofmanova right now, eventhough Hofmanova has a better c-h. In Shrewsbury 75k two weeks ago, Ana beat Minella (WTA #133) in straights and took a set from Kremer who in the previous round beat Hofmanova 2 & 1.

So just get your game going Ana, and make sure you don't blow this chance. Good luck

Won, 4 & 5, well done Ana! Next up is the winner between Poutchek (h2h with Ana 1:1) and Klepac (h2h 2:1 for Klepac). Oh btw, Ana lost here in QR1 last year so she can only gain points.

Really hard to expect anything from her next match, cause in QR1 of a WTA tournament in Luxembourg Ana plays Craybas.

Ana is hanging on nicely in that match! After losing the first set, but only in a tie-break, she's now a break up in the second, at 6:7, 4:2!

Ana is playing in next week's Istanbul $25K, where she's the #6 seed. Unfortunately she got one of the strongest opponents in R1: Kristyna Pliskova, who I believe is the second highest-ranked among the non-seeded players.

It sure would be nice to end the season with a c-h and start off the next one with some wins in Melbourne. No serious points to defend until February!
