The most spectacular point from yesterday's match (starting at 1:15) is curiously similar to the most spectacular point the last time Caro beat Safarova, Copenhagen 11: Safarova draws a short FH from Caro and hits an agressive inside-out FH which Caro only just gets her racket on and hits a high, short ball to Safarova's BH side but the Czech steps around it to hit her FH. Caro correctly reads that she'll hit it DTL, moves to the right spot and hits a BH winner.
The points also occured at almost similar times in set 1: yesterday it was at 5-2 and gave Caro SP, in Copenhagen it was at 5-1 and brought her within a point of SP.
