Re: Ranking breakdown Tsveti
it's the game she's down now, but I'm sure she will be up very soon.

Re: Ranking breakdown Tsveti
I still like Tsveti
I just don't like her current ranking
I will still be rooting for her though

Same here. Ranking isn't good but I hope she'll string a few results together soon .

Re: Ranking breakdown Tsveti
Tsveti is defending 222 points from now until the end of the year
I think her goal should be to end the year in the top 100, therefore making the MD of the AO

Re: Ranking breakdown Tsveti
The bad thing is that I don't see her defending those points with this game.

Re: Ranking breakdown Tsveti
I'm back on the board and will be providing the detailed breakdown again as soon as I have caught up with a backlog of a year of WTA and ITF results. I may not have been loyal to this thread but I'm loyal to Tsveti

Re: Ranking breakdown Tsveti
Code:
Austr. Open 2009 100
Roland Garros 2009 5
Wimbledon 2009 5
US Open 2009 5
--------------------------------------
Indian Wells 2009 50
Miami 2009 5
Madrid 2009 5
Beijing 2009 0
--------------------------------------
Stuttgart 2009 80
Hobart 2009 70
Dubai 2009 60
ITF-20090928-Athens 2009 40
ITF-20090914-Sofia 2009 36
Brisbane 2009 30
New Haven 2009 12
Eastbourne 2009 8
======================================
Linz 2009 6
Luxembourg 2008 2
Paris 2009 1
Marbella 2009 1
Barcelona 2009 1
Rome 2009 1
Warsaw 2009 1
Budapest 2009 1
Prague 2009 1
Istanbul 2009 1
ITF-20090907-Biella 2009 1
ITF-20090921-Saint Malo 2009 1
This is Tsveti's current ranking breakdown. First four Slams then 4 mandatory ones and then the best 8 of all other tournaments. Due to her ranking though, Beijing (red) isn't considered for her and is replaced with the 9th best, i.e. Linz (green).
517 points in total so the points from Moscow (at least 120) will be more than welcome. Virtually she's now at 631.

She'll possibly move into the Top 100 anyway later in the year as quite a few of players in front of her have big ITF points to defend in November.

Re: Ranking breakdown Tsveti
The Return-to-the-Top-100 situation :
Code:
Austr. Open 2009 100
Roland Garros 2009 5
Wimbledon 2009 5
US Open 2009 5
--------------------------------------
Indian Wells 2009 50
Miami 2009 5
Madrid 2009 5
Beijing 2009 0
--------------------------------------
Moscow 2009 140
Stuttgart 2009 80
Hobart 2009 70
Dubai 2009 60
ITF-20090928-Athens 2009 40
ITF-20090914-Sofia 2009 36
Brisbane 2009 30
New Haven 2009 12
======================================
Eastbourne 2009 8
Linz 2009 6
Paris 2009 1
Marbella 2009 1
Barcelona 2009 1
Rome 2009 1
Warsaw 2009 1
Budapest 2009 1
Prague 2009 1
Istanbul 2009 1
ITF-20090907-Biella 2009 1
ITF-20090921-Saint Malo 2009 1
She may vey well still move up in the rankings. Yakimova (82), Camerin (116), Kerber (174), Gallovits (140), Niculescu (190), Keothavong (170) and Morita (270) all have more points to defend from ITF tournaments (between parentheses) than they are separated from Tsveti who has nothing to defend until Brisbane, Hobart and the AO come off. But that's next year
