Re: General Aussie Tennis News
Well they are going to be showing something this year, because they have included it in their advertisements for the sports they will cover in 09. I hope it's more than a couple matches in the final rounds, like they do for the US Open.

Re: General Aussie Tennis News
Here's hoping. But going by their track record, I wouldn't be expecting anything until about the SF as per usual.

Yeah, that's what I'm expecting, we'll probably find out next week how much Nine are showing.

Re: General Aussie Tennis News
Fox have been saying they are showing the first 8 days live. Which would lead me to believe they have the rights for those first 8 days and nine have the rights to the last 5 days. Which will be probably quarter finals and so on.

Re: General Aussie Tennis News
Hmm, it's better than nothing! But what's the bet they only show from men's QF onwards but only the women's semi and final.

Thanks for that Danimoo, means Fox has the first week (Sunday-Sunday) and Nine have the second week, hopefully they show all of what they have.

Re: General Aussie Tennis News
I don't know if anyone else received an email this evening, but I got one from Hopman Cup. It's about ABC broadcasting the tournament in 2010 again.

Re: General Aussie Tennis News
Not sure if they said the new venue would be ready for this years Hopman Cup or not. But it certainly won't be, construction is way behind schedule.
Might not even see it ready for next years event.
