There's hope. During Miami and IW Ajla was still ranked in the 200s whereas now she's firmly in the 100s. Besides, at Miami, she almost beat a top-50 player, losing to Shvedova in a very close match: 67(1) 76(3) 75.
First match will be interesting, simply because Radwanska jr. was once regarded as a new star on the horizon herself (well she still is, kind of), and now she's facing one. Draw is of course not easy, but let's see if Ajla can make her first win over someone from inside top100, which could happen if she gets to play Kudryavtseva in QR2.
