ajla only got to melbourne the day before her match  i'm guessing that has something to do with the result, but i'm still sad she lost

Bad loss for Ajla, considering that Brittany Sheed lost her previous match 60 60. That was to an out-of-form Martina Muller in QR1 of the AO. On the other hand, Muller has a career-high ranking of #33 and Sheed has been in Australia for at least ten days, so has had a chance to get used to the conditions.
Better luck next time, Ajla!

ajla is in semifinal of doubles  she and christina mchale are 6th seeds and for final they will play against 4th seed, and combination pervak/kirillova

sorry, she was in quaterfinal of doubles, but anyway, now she is in semifinal
they won 6-4 6-4

grand slam junior champ  wish she had played better in singles, but it's clear that was just a bad day for her. looks like she is playing a 25K next week...good luck!!

It's nice thing to win Gradn Slam title even if it's in doubles juniors. She could get even higher in her rank now, right? |
