I watched some vids of Alex from Russian challenger this year and her game is still not that good. She is a tiny girl and I guess she will never be a powerful hitter but still she can work a lot on it. She will be around 225 next week, which is great. She could crack top200 by the end of '10 and she is only 17 !!

We shouldnt be harsh on her.

Krunic has very good season so far. She is youngest active WTA player which won some $50K+ event and she will finish this month with just Ajla Tomljanovic ahead her of all other younger players than she is.

It's not secret that Aleksandra have big fatigue problem when she trying to play two back-to-back tournaments in two weeks. She is simple physically still not ready for such efforts and only reason why she reach QF this week after last week SF is lucky draw (two wild cards in previous rounds), so it's expected scenario that first decent TOP300 will beat her. Italian Mayr is so lucky to play vs Aleks always when she playing that 2nd back-to-back week when she is always less than 80% of her usual game.

Krunic next tournament will be September's $100K Biella if her ranking will be enough good for Q-Draw, otherwise perhaps another European 25K event. For 2010 improvement she deserve credit from us.
