From the pictures, it looks like you had a pretty good seat/spot to watch the game Is was the grandstand as you said so yourself...
Yes, it was the grandstand. But I was able to get down close because there was not as many people there as I thought there would be. The match started late and went to around 7:30 p.m.

Thanks again for amazing pictures from Amelie Island!
Too many DFs, and I think her first serve percentage must have been low. Unlike Parmentier, Alona was able to match her with the groundstroke rallies. But Caro got the best of it in the second set and Alona slammed her racket a lot and yelled at her coach/boyfriend? a lot. Caro got broken in her first service game of the 3rd set and was unable to get the break back before the injury. I wouldn`t say Alona was too good. She likely would have had to try and serve for the match if not for the injury, and you know how that often goes in the WTA. if she failed then it would have been anyone`s match. Credit to Alona as she played a good match, but I think Caro will beat her next time, especially if they play on a fast surface.

She tends to do that quite often

Caroline had already beaten Alona earlier this year (at the AO), so I think it's a safe bet she'll beat her again.

Thanks again for the pics

No. I wasn`t taking pics when she fell. And of course I didn`t take any pics of her when she was down. Of course we all want to see "The Danish Delight" at her best...

She probably took a "toilet break" after the 2nd set. I think the weather in Miami was hot and humid.

Great shots Langers. You are in real tight on those. How about sharing the type of camera and lense you used for these?

Thanks, Langers.
Yes, Caro changed outfits after the 2nd set, I think.

Here's some from Miami in her doubles match with Akgul against Azarenka/Peer.

Great close-ups. I like the blue background.

I don't know about others, but I always enjoy seeing new photos of Caroline. It doesn't matter to me whether they're current or not.
