Hi, I just noticed this credits thing on my profile (i have 2,063.39) Whats up with them?

How do you get them, what can I do with them, and what is 'Banking'? (the link below it..)

Credits are formerly known as vdollars, or Virtual Dollars.

They're used for VBetting on tennis matches (look in the tournament sub-forums, then at the top you'll find another sub-forum for VBetting)

It works just like real money, but you can't keep it

You get more credits for making posts, starting threads, editing posts, making bets and winning... You lose them if your post/thread gets deleted for one reason or another, or if you go a really long time without posting, or if you bet and lose it.

You can click on threads and bet on the matches (although there aren't any open bets right now)

If you bet your 2.000 on Daniela and she wins, they pay you back 7.400 Credits

If your put all in on Masha, and she wins, you get 500 back.

Convert fraction into decimal.

Maria has 0.25 odds then. So if you place $1,000 on Maria, you will win $250 and get the origal $1,000 you bet.

I look at the odds like this:

I take the amount I bet, then divide it by the second number, than multiply the new number by the first number. So:

Odds: 10/1
My bet: 50 dollars

50 divided by 1= 50*10= 500

If I win I'll get 500 dollars plus my 50 back.


Or:

Odds: 2/7
My bet: 70

70 divded by 7= 10*2= 20

I get 20 dollars plus my 70 back, so 90.


That's how I look at it, it's easier for me to understand
