Re: Lisa Raymond cheering thread
Peschke would be nice. Lisa and her are both a lot better now than they were when they first paired up. Maybe she can convince Sam to play with her again.

I did hear that Stosur will be playing the upcoming tournaments with Lisa. I hope they can find a way to make it last longer! I think it would be great for Sam's singles and I think they make a great team (if given time to gel and get a ranking for Sam!)

Sam needs help. Bad. Just play a full season of doubles, and get your volleys back.

Re: Lisa Raymond cheering thread
Matt Cronin has confirmed on twitter that Lisa and Sam will play Doha, Dubai, Inidan Wells, and Miami together. I would like if they would throw in Memphis as well. Lisa loves that tournament, and the field won't be too special so they could definitely get some matches in and find a groove together. Seems like it will be a temporary thing, but hopefully Lisa can talk Sam into playing a full season like Stubbs was able to do in 2009.

Re: Lisa Raymond cheering thread
So many crappy teams and they have to draw a seeded team first round in Doha.

Big 6-4 6-2 win over 8th seeds Mattek-Sands/Mirza. Great win!!! They have a good draw now. Husarova/Zhang next.

Re: Lisa Raymond cheering thread
Congrats - great scoreline too! Beth-Sania have been up and down but I thought they were going to shade it.
Lisa's on FB now too.

Re: Lisa Raymond cheering thread
Honestly should get to the SF's without much trouble. Kops-Jones/Spears could be tricky, but no worries other than that.
Side note: Lindsay Davenport reported during the FC tie against Italy this past weekend that MJF asked Lisa to play the tie, but she declined. Not sure if that means she asked her to play before Liezel or in addition to Liezel. She knew how important that doubles point would be, so I wouldn't be surprised if she wanted to make the risky move in putting two doubles players on the team.
